Track One | Sex and Violence in Genesis

Unfiltered Stories. Honest Questions. Real Answers.
Let’s be real: Genesis isn’t just garden strolls and rainbow promises. It’s full of wild stories—betrayal, bloodshed, broken families, and some seriously uncomfortable moments. So what do we do with all that? Ignore it? Explain it away? Pretend it’s not in the Bible?

This class is for the curious, the skeptical, and the spiritually hungry. We’re diving into the rawest parts of Genesis—the sex, the violence, the mess—and asking what it means, why it’s there, and how we’re supposed to read it today.

No fluff. No filters. Just real talk about Scripture, culture, and the God who shows up in the middle of it all. This track will contain mature content and discussions—parents be aware.

Track Two | Stewardship for the Chronically Overcommitted

Because your calendar is crying and your soul is too.
Life’s a nonstop scroll of responsibilities: Work. Family. Finances. Faith. And somehow you’re supposed to serve others without losing your mind?

This class is for the ones who say yes too much, sleep too little, and still want their life to mean something. We've got real talk on time, talent, treasure—and how to steward it all without going crazy. Come exhausted. Leave empowered.

The Mount Student Ministry

Students (7th-12th grade) Options:

  • Student Bible Study | As we continue our focus on “Do What Jesus Did," we’re excited to spend four weeks talking about what it looks like to be a difference maker. The "Difference Maker" study is a four-week series focused on inspiring students to live out their faith by learning from biblical leaders—David, Moses, Jesus, and Timothy—who made a significant impact. Through these examples, students are encouraged to reflect on their own lives and consider how they can be difference-makers for Christ in their everyday environments.

  • Serving in The Mount Kids (Requires background check and MinistrySafe training.)

  • Attend a Track | Students in 10th-12th grade can choose to attend either track for the four weeks. These will be intensive studies with adults so there is a very high level of expectation for any student wanting to attend a track. Those who choose to attend a track will be a part of weekly studies and discussions with others in the track!
